Pittsburgh Peanut Butter Balls 58, New Delhi Subs 49
In what could be described as a game for redemption, the Pittsburgh Peanut Butter Balls (1-2) secured their first win of the season, defeating the New Delhi Subs (0-3). Lamar Jackson threw for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Zack Moss added a key 97 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
“I told the guys we can’t be the laughing stock of the East,” said Pittsburgh owner Matt Howell. “Lamar delivered. It’s about time.”
Despite Brock Purdy's 333-yard, 3-touchdown game and Kyren Williams' stellar 3-touchdown performance, New Delhi couldn't stop Pittsburgh’s relentless attack.
