South Carolina Scarecrows @ Philadelphia Dark Side: “Not Enough Fireworks”
This was a game where both offenses left fans wanting more, especially from South Carolina. Despite the Scarecrows putting up respectable yardage, they couldn’t turn it into points. Derek Carr’s 244 yards came with zero TDs, while Jonathan Taylor’s 108 yards and a touchdown provided a glimmer of hope. But it wasn’t enough to overcome Jalen Hurts’ efficient two-touchdown performance and the Detroit Defense, which forced key turnovers.
Would Jordan Love have made the difference for South Carolina? This game suggests they missed his spark. Meanwhile, the Dark Side continues to miss AJ Brown, but Terry McLaurin stepped up with 52 yards and a TD.
