San Antonio 46, Hartford 42

San Antonio squeaked by Hartford in a tight 46-42 affair, keeping them tied with Tequila Sunrise atop the Western Division at 4-2. Jared Goff’s 320 yards and 3 TDs helped San Antonio stay ahead of a resilient Hartford squad that saw Chris Godwin put up an impressive 13 points.

Tanya Harless, San Antonio’s owner, couldn’t contain her excitement. "This team is starting to believe. We’ve got a tough one against LA next week, but we’re ready." Hartford’s Chad Allen, meanwhile, lamented his team’s missed opportunities. "We just couldn’t close it out when it mattered," he sighed.
