South Carolina 49, Los Angeles 34
In a game that left LA’s owner Jason Beaver absolutely fuming, the South Carolina Scarecrows bounced back with a decisive 49-34 win, ending their losing streak and keeping them tied for the East lead. Despite Joe Burrow’s efforts (263 yards and 1 TD), the Lords’ offense sputtered, leaving Beaver visibly frustrated. "We should've had this one. We’re just not executing when it matters," he said post-game, still seething.
South Carolina’s Jordan Love was the standout performer, throwing for 271 yards and 4 TDs, helping his team secure a crucial win. Scarecrows’ owner Trevor Harless was relieved to see his team get back on track. "We needed that—our backs were against the wall, and the guys stepped up," he commented.
