Bagels Get Toasted as Tabbi's Kats Pounce with Style
This was less of a game and more of a "how many touchdowns can Josh Allen throw before Cincinnati remembers they're supposed to be defending something." Tabbi's Kats delivered an absolute beatdown, sending Cincinnati home with little more than a bruised ego and a -4-yard reception.
Josh Allen clearly got the "actually try today" memo, throwing for 242 yards, three touchdowns, and even snagging a two-point conversion for good measure. "Yeah, I was just trying to stay awake out there," Allen said casually. "Figured I'd toss a couple of touchdowns to keep things interesting." His supporting cast, including Derrick Henry, who bulldozed his way to 133 yards and two touchdowns, made it clear they were here to win, not just collect stats.
Meanwhile, C.J. Stroud put up 250 yards…and zero touchdowns. For a team supposedly featuring "Bagels," the offensive menu seemed to have run out of flavor entirely. Breece Hall and David Montgomery both showed up with some yardage—85 and 96, respectively—but forgot that touchdowns are the whole point of this thing. Jaylen Waddle tried his best to mix things up by racking up an astonishing -4 yards (yes, that's negative), but at least he found the end zone once. Maybe he just likes taking the scenic route?
While the Bagels were fumbling around, Demarcus Robinson was busy making the case for "receiver of the day," snagging two touchdowns for Tabbi's Kats. The Bagels’ defense might have wanted to check his ID to see if it really was Robinson torching them repeatedly, but instead, they let him roam freely for 94 yards.
This game will go down as the one where the Cincinnati Bagels took a giant nap while Tabbi's Kats put on an offensive showcase. Final score: Tabbi's Kats 71, Cincinnati Bagels 25. Cincinnati fans might want to bring some toast next time because it seems the Bagels are far from fully baked.
