Indy Animals Survive Chicago Fightin' Ditkas, 24-21

In a low-scoring affair, the Indy Animals (2-0) remained unbeaten by fending off the Chicago Fightin' Ditkas (0-2) with a narrow 24-21 win. Marvin Harrison Jr. was the hero for Indy, racking up 130 yards and 2 touchdowns, including the game-winning score. Tyler Bass added 7 points with 4 extra points and a field goal.

“Marvin is the real deal,” said Indy owner Kevin Ryburn. “He made the difference today. We’re still figuring things out on offense, but 2-0 feels good.”

The Ditkas struggled offensively, with Caleb Williams held to just 218 yards and no touchdowns. Drake London scored the only receiving touchdown for Chicago, but the lack of production from their backfield hurt their chances of pulling off the upset.
